Welcome to "Living On Purpose In Christ," the podcast where we embark on a transformative journey towards Christ-centered personal growth. I'm so happy to have you join us as we delve into the practical ways to enrich your faith walk and transform your life. Whether you're looking to strengthen your relationship with God or find more purpose and peace in your daily walk, you've come to the right place. Together, we'll explore how to live intentionally for Christ and harness the sacred in everyday moments. Doesn't that sound amazing!

Hi, I'm Paula Behrens and I am so glad to have you here to kick off our first episode of "Living on Purpose In Christ." I’m thrilled you've joined us to delve into our theme, "Building Confidence through Faith," inspired by the powerful scripture Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Let's pause for a moment and really embrace the magnitude of this verse. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This profound promise isn’t just a collection of words; it's a declaration of empowerment, a beacon of hope, and a foundation for building unshakeable confidence, a confidence that comes from within, a confidence that comes though knowing who you are in Christ.

In a world where self-doubt and fear often overshadow our God-given abilities, this scripture serves as a reminder that our true source of strength and confidence doesn’t lie in our worldly achievements or failures but in Christ alone. By anchoring ourselves in this truth, we can break through barriers and rise above challenges.

So, how exactly do we build this Christ-centered confidence? First, we must understand that confidence in Christ means aligning our hearts with His will. It involves daily surrendering our desires, anxieties, and ambitions to God, trusting that His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. We are not called to rely on our limited capacity but to open ourselves to the infinite power of the Almighty.

So here's my invitation: Begin each day by speaking Philippians 4:13 over your life. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let it infuse every action and decision with His divine strength. And each time you face a struggle or an overwhelming task, remind yourself of that promise. Visualize Christ infusing you with His strength, enabling you to conquer what seems impossible.

Additionally, cultivate a heart of gratitude. Focus on thanking Christ not only for His strength but also for the journey and lessons along the way. Gratitude shifts our perspective from what we lack to the abundance of God's provisions, further solidifying our confidence in His plan and timing.

It's also vital to surround ourselves with a community that shares this faith-driven vision. Fellowship with believers who encourage, uplift, and hold you accountable to your God-given potential. Engage in dialogue, share experiences, and support one another in the quest for living confidently in Christ.

Moreover, let us not forget the power of prayer. Prayer is our lifeline, our direct communication with the One who empowers us. Through prayer, we can seek guidance, express our concerns, and most importantly, listen. Listen to the still, small voice of God reminding us of His unfailing love and strength.

Incorporating scripture into your life, practicing gratitude, engaging in fellowship, and maintaining a rich prayer life are key practices in nurturing confidence through faith. But remember, confidence is not simply a feeling—it's a posture, a way of living that reflects reliance on Christ at every moment.

As we conclude today’s episode, let us keep Philippians 4:13 close to our hearts. May it light the path ahead, dispelling the darkness of doubt. Embrace the truth that with Christ, limitations crumble, and potential knows no bounds.

Thank you so much for being a part of today's historic first episode of "Living On Purpose In Christ." I hope you've found inspiration and practical insights to grow deeper in your faith journey. Remember, growth doesn't happen in isolation, so I'd love for you to continue this journey with us.
